Asia/Oceania

description

Join a team of missionaries to live and serve in Asia/Oceania as a student teacher at an international Pre K-grade 12 school for missionary kids and children of business-community expats. While your experience will focus on teaching at this school, you will also join with OMS missionaries and partners to participate in other ministries that may interest you. These ministries may include peer discipleship at a national Bible School, teaching English, Bible studies, cultural exchanges with other young adults, and more. Extra ministry opportunities can be customized to help you discern your gifts and passions or simply try something new. Your Embark experience will include field trips within the surrounding area, where you will learn about the rich cultural and religious diversity of the country.

Responsibilities

During your time with Embark, you will serve in your area of focus while participating in localized ministry experiences. A team of missionaries will also pour into you as you learn more about your gifts and passions. Our hope for this experience is that you will grow in your relationship with God, expand your skill set, be more prepared to disciple people from other cultures, and perhaps discern a long-term call to missions and ministry.
