United States
description

As a Missionary Care intern, you will have the opportunity to see first hand how we serve our missionaries through care, as well as research and build up our care resources.

Organize resources in centralized location, practically building digital folders for high areas of needs, to include organizing them per regions.
Collaborate with OMS USA to build a missionary care podcast for families, inviting missionaries and their families to share their stories of missionary needs, victories, challenges, and how their comprehensive missionary fitness prevails. (2 episodes minimum).
Assist with Missionary Kid recognitions for graduates and the MK scholar process.
Assist Director of Missionary Care in updating coursework for Leaving Well and Single/Married missionaries on the field.
Create one case study for self-assessment and evaluative review, addressing pastoral care provision and providing a gospel cantered, sincerely curious witness (with oversight) to serving a need of an OMS USA staff member or missionary in mock counsel.
Organize an intern connection group, wherein all interns meet to bolster one another’s spiritual formation as part of comprehensive fitness, strengthening what it means to care for oneself and others.
