The OMS Asbury Student Centre Graduate Assistant will help represent OMS at Asbury University and Asbury Theological Seminary through the discipleship of college and seminary students while sharing the many missions' opportunities OMS has around the world. Specifically, this position will support the initiatives and work of the Director of the OMS Asbury Student Centre to both make disciples of Jesus Christ and promote OMS missions' opportunities in order to mobilize new missionaries who are called to missions.
Responsibilities
- Attend weekly staff meetings with Director to pray, plan and coordinate on weekly work, events, etc., acting in the role of an administrative/ministry assistant.
Attend Asbury University Student Life Department meetings with the OMS Asbury Student Centre Director whenever possible.
Assist with weekly OMS Asbury University Student Leadership Team Meetings to pray, plan and prepare for weekly campus ministry program and campus events with OMS Student Leader Team.
Assist with running weekly campus ministry program, CoSeek, held at the OMS Student Centre and lead a small group of students in inductive bible study. (Currently on Tuesday nights at 7pm but may move to Sunday evening next school year.)
Assist with organization and implementation of special OMS Events on the campuses of Asbury University and Asbury Theological Seminary.
Develop and implement marketing and advertising strategies to promote OMS summer mission trips, internships at OMS headquarters, Embark missions' internships and long term missions' opportunities on Asbury University and Asbury Theological Seminary Campuses.
Carry out OMS Asbury Relational Discipleship Activities to follow up with and build relationships with university and seminary students who are involved with OMS or who are interested in OMS missions' opportunities.
Work with the OMS Asbury Student Centre Director to accomplish monthly mobilization goals.
Clean and organize the OMS Asbury Student Centre twice a month.

Criteria
- Committed follower of Jesus Christ who loves people and engages in spiritual disciplines regularly.
Good communications and interpersonal skills, including public speaking.
Proficiency with technology and computers, i.e. Microsoft Office, basic graphic design using Canva, knowledgeable use of Social Media Platforms, and willing to learn how to administrate Planning Center Software.
Strong leadership gifts with administrative and organizational skills.
