Youth and Young Adults Mobiliser
Lisa grew up in London, fully giving her life to Jesus when she was at university. Ever since this time she has wanted to share God’s love with others – showing them that He wants a relationship with them and has a great calling on their lives. After university she joined YWAM (Youth With A Mission), where the Discipleship Training School (DTS) and mission trip impacted her life immensely, which resulted in her helping lead a DTS and undertake YWAM’s School of Biblical Studies.
Lisa has worked with young people for over 20 years. Her ministry experience includes pioneering youth work in the UK, taking young people on mission trips across the world, teaching and mentoring students, and spending time as a missionary in Uganda herself. Uganda has become a place very close to her heart, and she continues to maintain strong connections there.
Lisa has lived in Bournemouth since 2015, where she and her husband Jonathan are raising their three children: Esther, Judah and Micah. The family worships at St Andrews Charminster Church and are actively involved in the life and mission of the church community. In early 2026, Lisa and her family spent two months serving with YWAM Uganda, taking part in evangelism, children’s ministry, discipleship training, and practical outreach in local communities and slums. It was a great time seeing her children step out in faith and understand living in a different culture. This time strengthened her passion for cross cultural mission and her desire to see young people step into God’s calling with courage, knowing their identity in Him.
Lisa has now joined OMS as Youth and Young Adult Mobiliser. In this role, she will help equip, inspire, and support young people as they explore God’s mission - through discipleship, mentoring, training opportunities, and creating pathways for them to serve both locally and globally. Her heart is to see young people discover their identity in Christ, grow in confidence, and live out their faith in practical ways. She is excited to be part of the OMS team and looks forward to encouraging the next generation to step boldly into the adventure of following Jesus.
