short-term missionEach year there are a number of life-changing opportunities to join a small team (of anything from 6 to 12 people) to partner with believers of the indigenous church in various countries, and spend a week or two in evangelism, practical outreach and discipleship. You may be involved in an English camp for young people, painting a church, or running a children’s holiday club, among other activities.

Short-Term Individual Placements

We recognise that for many people a tailor-made situation can be helpful and with this in mind we are happy to talk with you about your particular interest, gifts and time frame. We have built up a great deal of experience over the last 50 years helping individuals to begin their journey of faith exploration by finding the niche that God has appointed for them. From career break to early retired we are happy to help you find your place. Short-term opportunities exist in the Republic of Ireland, Spain, Ecuador, Mexico, Haiti, the South Pacific, amongst other countries.

Extreme Walk

Extreme WalkExtreme Walk is a challenging 11 month opportunity to learn from and work alongside local church planters in a variety of countries worldwide. The locals will train you to share the Gospel and make disciples in their culture, language and community. There are potential openings in South and Central Asia, Europe, Africa and South America.

Practical Work Teams - Men for Missions

Men for Missions, your life changing journey.Men for Missions International (MFMI), the layman’s voice of OMS, is a dynamic movement through which men and women from varied church affiliations and all walks of life can have the opportunity to use their personal skills and abilities in practical, direct missionary activities. You can become a member of a work team, engaged in practical ministry helping to build or repair churches, clinics, mission homes or schools at home in the UK or abroad. You can also join an evangelistic team or, if you prefer, an intercessor team designed to give an opportunity to see missions is action, where intercessory prayer is the focus.
