Fundraise for OMS
Whether we leave our homeland or not, being involved in worldwide mission is an exciting prospect that is available to each and every one of us. Why not join us in the great adventure of global missions! Prayerfully consider one or more of the following options as, together, we take the Good News of Jesus Christ to the four corners of the world.
Adopt a missionary
Why not encourage your church, youth group or Sunday school to adopt their very own missionary or missionary couple/family by donating a full partnership share of £15.00 per month towards their ministry. You can take a part share, or more than one share, as you desire. Choose from one of the missionaries profiled in the 'About Us' section on this website and receive that particular missionary's up-to-date news and prayer requests by post or e-mail. Equally, adopt your own missionary.
A sponsored event for a missionary project
- The 'Three Peaks' Challenge (Snowdon - Scafell Pike - Ben Nevis)
- The Land's End to John O'Groats Cycle Challenge
- The Great North Run
- The Kilimanjaro Climb
Organise a sponsored event and raise funds for a missionary project e.g., Haiti Relief & Restoration Fund, Brazil Seminary Students, Mexican Drop-In Centre, Calcutta Bible Seminary, or enquire for other project options. Your event doesn't need to be as adventurous as those mentioned above - a sponsored walk around a local beauty spot, a sponsored swim in the local swimming pool, a sponsored quiz-night in your church hall, a sponsored car wash on Dad's drive - you get the idea! Raise funds for world mission, touch lives with the Gospel and have fun and fellowship all at the same time. Go for it!
NB: Keep the OMS-UK Office in the loop and your event could be featured on this website!
Where there's a WILL there's a way…
Through your WILL, facilitate a way by which people will become disciples of Jesus Christ. Include OMS in your estate plan and encourage others to do the same. Income from legacies bring great blessing. Just think how much you could bless others at the conclusion of your earthly sojourn. If you feel this is something you would like to consider please do contact us for impartial advice as to the steps you should consider in this matter.
